View Full Version : Speaker cables

Does anyone know where I can buy some cheap speaker cable? And when I
say speaker cable I mean the kind that comes with the plugs on the
ends. The reason I'm looking for cheap ones is because it's for my
mother who has a nasty habit of accidently vacuuming the wires up with
the vacuum cleaner (try not to laugh, it's really not funny). No sense
in paying a lot for something that's ultimately going to get destroyed
two or three times a year.

I looked in three Walmarts, Target, and Kmart but they don't care that
kind anymore. All they have is the speaker wire with no plugs on the
ends. I'm surprised Walmart doesn't carry it anymore, that's where I've
always gotten it before. Is there a reason why so many stores don't
carry that kind anymore?

Try RadioShack. Even if they do not have it with the plugs(?) you
want, they will probably have the plugs separately.

Build them out of 12Ga low voltage lighting cable.
Cables vs Vacuum. Those cables will win <VBG>
