View Full Version : Question for Gerg

From the hilarious speaker set-up instructions on your website:

'The tweeter and terminal cup on the back don’t need to be quite as
tight as the woofer, but as the gasket material settles both of them
do best with a slight amount of tightening.'

I thought you didn't like gaskets--oops, sorry, that's 'gluey goop' in
your special Orchestration Language. I thought you bolted the drivers
directly onto the baffle.

'Again, it’s probably most important for the woofer to be snug, and as
the screws and t-nuts that hold it in place start to settle, a small
turn of each screw to the point where it feels snug does help its
performance. At the time of this writing the allen key size of the hex
head screw used is 7/64.'

Do you supply the tools needed to assemble your Madisound speakers
properly?

Out of interest, may I suggest you orchestrate an upgrade path? You
could charge an additional $799 for these.

Do you know anything about speakers? Gaskets have to be used to acheive
an airtight seal. No, I don't mean your wife, either.

No, but I did up the screw size to 9/64ths. Why?

Your anony**** suggestion has been duly noted.

Too bad gerg can't sell any of his crappy speakers. There would be a
real opportunity for after-market accessories. Burn cream, plastic
surgeon referral services, etc. I just can't wait until he comes out
with his own line of speaker cables.

Dumb prat. If you knew anything about relationships with women, you'd
know that an airtight seal is really not necessary--unless you're
talking about your wallet.
