Where could I find what model General Motors factory AM/FM Cassette &
CD systems would fit my inlaws 2001 Century?

ie: Would a 2001 LeSabre unit (looks the same) fit?

Thanks in advance!

Nope. The LeSabre uses a completely different power/speaker plug and a
different antenna connector. You need a double-din chassis radio with a
32-pin plug. You can find them in several Oldsmobiles, Cadillacs and
Buicks, 1994-2000. The Century was one of the last models using that plug.

Yikes! Thanks - glad I asked.
Now I have to hope someone outbids me over the next 5 days on
Ebay.....while I continue to look for the "right" model.

Just cancel your bid and say "unit not compatible with your car"

Naaah - if it doesn't fit I'll just relist it myself. I've never
renegged on a bid.

That's the BLUE one as opposed to white?

Yes. The 01 LeSabre actually uses a set of contacts instead of a plug,
IIRC. But the 32-pin plug is usually blue.

Note also that there are more than one type of those plugs some use
ACC, some do not.
