Is there an Ipod interface out there for eclipse head units. Will it be
able to display the text and other info (this on on an eclipse avn 5435 nav
system)

Assuming that Eclipse uses a standard cd-changer interface, and that you
are not currently using this interface, you should be able to purchase
any number of third party ipod connection units that can display the
track information and give you some control over the ipod from the deck.
The only issue is most of these interfaces are sold based on vehicle
types, so you would need to know what standard Eclipse uses and find the
matching interface.
One assumes that if Eclipse does not currently make one, they will soon
and it will probably work a heck of a lot better then the third party
types, so maybe it would better just to wait :)

Yes.
Peripheral makes it.
Eclipse sent me a free one w/ my last order.

"Peripheral" is the name of the company that makes it? Eclipse uses the
"E-Lan" for their changers. My Eclipse AVN has A/V inputs but i wanna take
it to the next step and be able to control the IPOD from the Eclipse head
unit.
