View Full Version : How to wire a minjack (MP3 player) into a CD changer DIN
Where can I find the wiring diagram for a CD changer cable (8-pin DIN,
Sanyo, if it makes a difference)? I want to build a cable to convert a
minijack to input into my Sanyo radio. Apparently people have done
this, but I can't find any diagrams.

wouldn't one of the RF Modulators, or MP3 Player adaptors be far
easier to do... if it can be done... and cheaper, too, in the long
run?

The sound quality is far less, and the FM transmitters have problems in
urban areas.

There's also a big difference in sound quality between the wireless FM
modulators and the wired ones that connect between your antenna and
head unit. A hardwired FM modulator is still not as good as an aux
input, but it's significantly better than a wireless modulator.

I have the hardwired modulator for my portable DVD Player. I tried a
battery powered one (The Bug?) but it quickly loses power.
