Advice please

[Prokop]

I have been searching on internet the micro/mini hi-fi system which can play
DVD mp3. I haven't found anything except Philips MCD510.
Any suggestions are welcome.

There are several on the market under the name Audiovox. I found them at
Best Buy, Target, Fred Meyer and Bartells. They will play mp3 DVDs, but not
wma DVDs. Prices run from $100 up to $200, depending largely on the size of
the screen. Of course, if you want a line voltage operated unit, the Apex
1225 will play all that stuff, including DVDR encoded with mp3 or wma files,
but it will not play DVDRW. Price is only $30. You have to add your own
amplifiers and speakers.

Are these "micro/mini hi-fi systems which can play
DVD mp3."? Or are they portable DVD players? OP made no reference to
anything with a built-in video screen...
