Even Mr. **** has been boasting that his $50 collection of knives is
"spiritually equivalent" to fine cutlery that costs $125 per piece,
Obie Wanna Half Tang has succeeded in persuading him to invest in
some slightly more costly Forschner knives. Turdborg is currently
high bidder on this fine lot of gourmet cutlery:

Heh. The full-tang hard black handled versions are actually
quite decent and comparable to the stuff you see at various
stores like Williams Sonoma. They do cost more, though.
Kind of like how Henckels has their 4 star line and pro lines.
The Solingen line is the best Forschner makes. Respectable knifes.

Built better than the cheap-handled version, IME. Not your budget $5
knifes. Heh.

Here's what appears to be the same thing, just minus the Victorinox
Label. Interesting. This looks like the exact same line that
Victorinox makes(probably outsources for their better stuff).
I'll poke around a bit. If Forschner/Victorinox outsources their
better line via this company, it would be nice to skip the middleman.

That 18 piece set for $399 looks nice. I bet the steel itself is no
different. This should be exactly what Kreuger is looking for - a
nice large set of good German steel. $25 a knife, not counting the
steel and block.

Still, that's a bit much to spend just to have nice tools for
murdering his children's pets, don't you think?
