Words almost fail me. I mean, how can a supposedly self-sufficient
adult be this stupid? How can Krooger manage to negotiate the common
travails of ordinary life and not be able to recognize the

effectively criticize speakers on certain grounds without actually
listening. For example if they showed up as being butt-ugly in pictures,
would it be illegitimate to criticize them for looking butt-ugly in pictures
or would I still have to listen to them first?

Talking about butt-ugly pictures and crap speakers, I would guess that
one would achieve very poor sound from a 'center speaker' that is
actually comprised of two speakers five feet apart and located near
the ceiling on a pair of butt-ugly wooden book cases.

What do you think?

Did you need to broaden the dialogue so it always locks to your

I never said they were terrible. I said they are inferior to what I would
use based on the driver specs. I even gave him a recomendation for a better
tweeter that would be worthwhile for him to investigate. It does however
require a higher cost @ $81.00 IIRC per unit. If I were going to use a low
cost ribbon tweeter this would be one I would want to check out.

Based on the review that Dave has written my impressions have been correct,
Trotsky's speakers are indeed overpriced for their performance.
