My car stereo consists of the following:
Sony cdx-c910 deck
Sony cdx-838 changer these three are linked optically
Sony xdp210 processor
Soundstream rubicon 805 amp drives Boston Pro 6.53 fronts (amp is
bridged)
JBL bp1200 amp drives single Boston Pro 12" @
2ohms
USacoustics 4050 amp drives Boston Pro 6.5 (6" for rear
fill, tweet for stage augment)
What I am hearing is a sort of quiet wind up whirring noise that goes from
lo to hi thru the course of approximately 30 seconds. These components have
been in the car for a year or two (some longer) and I believe this sound is
relatively recent.
My question is, does this sound like anything familiar to anyone and is
there something in particular that I should be investigating to remove this
sound from the system. It appears that this sound is only present at startup
but it is audible and has me concerned. My thoughts turn to ground issues or
issues surrounding the digital sub amp. I am hoping that someone here takes
the time to read this and offer me a tip or solution to provide a remedy. I
certainly don't know-it-all and truly appreciate some of the collective
knowledge that this group has to offer. Thanx to all that read this and
more thanx to those that try to help!
