I have a Sansui TV. It's a piece of ****. It was on sale at Best Buy for
$200.

I'm not sure I would equate the Sansui of yesteryear (ie. early '80s and
prior to that) with the Sansui of today. Companies get bought out. Product
lines get revamped. Things change.

Why are you so hung up on brand names anyway? There are literally hundreds
of quality amplifier brands out there today. No one should have to narrow
down their searches to just one hard-to-find line.
