Hi all,

I am searching for a software for windows which has the following function:

I have about 200 wav files with speech. Each wav file has silence (low
noise) at the beginning and at the end. I want to cut off the silence at the
end and beginning automatically and save the file. I batch function, which
do this with a whole directory would be niche but not mandatory. Wich
software can do this?

Best regards

Thomas

I have been using Wavedit, a simple freeware wave editor. See it at
http://www.pablosoftwaresolutions.com/html/wave_editor.html.
This one won't do batch processing.

Thank you, but Wavedit won't detect silence automatically. So it is not
usefull for me. It is too much work to find in 200 files silence manual.
