McIntosh MAC 1500 Receiver. Receiver is in EXCELLENT condition. Great
phono stage, Tube tuner and tube power amp give that glorious McIntosh
tube warmth.

Fitted with Telefunken, GE and McIntosh/made by RCA tubes.

AFAIK the Mac 1500 has a tube power amp, but it is NOT a McIntosh Unity
Coupled design, or even the cathode-winding transformer used in the
MA230. It uses a cheapo pair of purchased OPTs.

The phono stage is NOT particularly desired by anyone I know of.

It's not a terrible product, but it is not a McIntosh in any classic
sense.
