Hi,
I am looking for a corded microphone for use in a meeting situation that
will allow the speaker be more than an inch or two from the unit. This is
for a meeting situation and I have tried several (omni and uni-directional
dynamic) One was a Sure and another Audio Technica and unless the microphone
is held very close to the mouth, response is poor. I've seen microphones
that allow the speaker to be as far as 2 feet from the unit, but don't know
what type they are and would like some help if possible. Also would like to
keep price low if possible. It's for a non-profit group.
thanks in advance
Steve

By "speaker" you mean person speaking?

What do you mean by "poor"? Lack of warmth, excess echoes?

There were no doubt either omni or uni-directional.

Where is it written that non-profit organizations have to use the cheapest
equipment there is?
