I just picked up a Zenith Integrated Systems Model IS-4070. The
turntable won't budge. Either by hand or when awitched on.
Before I start disassembly, is there something obvious I missed, or any
suggestions?

Don't know this model, but lots of old changers have severe lubrication
problems, often enough to cause problems like yours.

Norm... Mark is right. The lubrication on the platter shaft has probably
turned to glue. You might try working the platter back and forth a little
using some force. If that doesn't work, apply heat the the spindle hole
with a soldering iron, or mini torch if your careful, to soften the old
lubrication... that always works. Once the platter is off you can use a
solvent to clean all old lubrication from the machine, sometimes you have
to squirt the mechanism with alcohol (or something stronger) and keep
working the parts till everything starts to move. Sometimes you have to do
major disasembly to get them back to working order. There is a devise on
the cam gear called a 'velocity trip lever' that causes the cam to engage
the automatic cycling at the end of the record. You'll have to remove,
clean, and slightly, if at all, lubricate that too or the tone arm will
skip near the end of the record. You'll have to replace the rubber drive
parts. You might have to disassemble the motor and relubricate it too.
Good luck.

Norm,
Before disassembling, did you check to se if the transport screw is removed?
Cordially,
