I recently bought a Pioneer 43" plasma TV that I want to use with my
Vandersteen 1C speakers and Denon AVR3801 receiver. I don't want to use my
Vandersteen center channel because its boxy appearance doesn't look right
with the 43" Pioneer TV. The TV will be mounted on a stand.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike
Mount the TV on a bigger stand which will accomodate the Vandersteen
center channel and put a screen in front of it.

That's a thought, but I'd like to find a speaker that is slim and long maybe
4"- 5" deep, 18" - 24" long by 4" - 5" wide in black.
Something with a similar timbre to the Vandy. The Vandersteen VCC-1
center is cubed sshaped about 10" - 12" deep.

I cannot imagine anything with that shape matching the 1Cs.

I'm not even sure you could build such a box with good results-which
is what I think you are going to wind up doing.
