White Speaker Wire?

Does anyone know where I can get some 12 or 14 gauge white speaker
wire? The white wire I'm finding seems to be 16 gauge and up.

Also, with a 30-foot run, will there be noticeable degradation with
with 16 gauge wire?

Monstercable carries some white wire. <g>

Your local hardware store doesn't carry white zip cord or electrical
wire?

Search by brand, then Ixos, then 50-ft spool.

They used to have a 12-ga flat wire by AR with white sheathing, but it's not
listed now.

Did you google it? I found http://www.speakerworks.net/speaker_wire.html and
the first one listed is http://www.speakerworks.net/SW12OFC.jpg. More
expensive than the Ixos but it's white.

Tried pricegrabber.com but not Google. Finding some good stuff there

Check the local Surplus Hut for spools of the PTFE insulated, nine
strand wire that is used for avionics bonding. You can easily make
twisted pair of reasonable length by chucking one end in a vice and the
other in a wood bit brace. Because it is PTFE insulated it goes for
less than the copper price sometimes.
