Finally picked up the latest Layla release.
I have been able to play previous SACD hybrid releases on my computer such
as Dylan and the Stones but this will not play.
I have tried Real Player, Windows Media Player and Power DVD.
Is there more to the story??
Thanks, Lar

You were able to play the other SACDs in your computer because they were
hybrids. You were playing the CD layer, not the SACD layer. Your Layla
SACD is most likely not a hybrid, or the CD layer is damaged.
There is currently no commerically available SACD player for the PC. Sony
was rumoured to have being thinking of releasing one.

The "Layla" CD is indeed hybrid.

Any other possible reasons? It seems extremely unlikely that just the CD
layer
is defective, when the others play fine?

How does the CD layer perform in other machines? What does it *do*
in your computer?
