View Full Version : Technics turntable grounding ?

I have a Technics SL-B200 turntable, and the ground wire has become unattached. There's no obvious place to re-attach it, so where does it connect?

Pretty much any place that stops the buzzing when it's not attached. Look for
a metal screw that bites into the metal chassis.

As long as that screw is in the receiver/amplifier. Mine has a thumbscrew
for such purposes.

On these models there is a small hole near the Left and Right audio output
jacks, into which the ground wire plugs.

As long as that screw is in the receiver/amplifier. Mine has a
thumbscrew for such purposes.
