Deck won't play, just flashes "DISC"

Hey there,

I just picked up a basic KOSS CD player for my car. Radio works fine,
but when I try to play a CD, it just flashes "DISC" after reading for
a few seconds.

I've tried a number of CDs, but none seem to work. Any suggestions?

its broke.. time for a new one. prolly not worth sending out
for repair...
