Ok, I'm finalizing the setup since I have found out that Alpine is
going to have BOTH an iPod interface AND Sirius (direct from Alpine's
mouth).

HU - Alpine CDA-9833 (Does anyone know if this support two line
display or just one? If just one, does it scroll artist/song?)

AMP - Alpine MRV-F340

Front Speakers - Polk Audio db6750 (Curious, Crutchfield says they
don't fit, but Cardomain says they are a perfect match. Anyone know
the true answer? '04 Silverado ext. cab, 6 speaker NOT BOSE)

Rear Speakers - Infinity Kappa 462.5cfp - (Samething as the front
speakers between Car domain and Crutchfield) Also, does it make a
difference using two different brands for front and rear? (I'm a n00b
in case you couldn't guess).

Sub - I really don't want to give up much room so I was looking at the
Clarion Phaze 1 SRV303 or the Infinity Basslink. I like how the
Clarion would most likely fit behind my ext. cab back seat. I'm not
looking for bass that will bounce my truck down the street, just add
nice lows and feel it slightly. I'm more into SQ and not the
loudness.

And of course I will be getting the iPod and Sirius interfaces as soon
as they are released to plug in.

Thanks for the input!

Sounds like a good system.
one question? what did your local shop say about the fit
of the speakers? They could tell you in about 10 minutes.
