View Full Version : Sony CD changer question

I have a Sony CDP-CX220 200-disc changer. I understand that there are
some models in this series which, when connected via the Control-A1
jack, allows this machine to act as a slave machine and provide
"no-delay play" mode where the two machines alternate playing tracks
with no long gaps in audio. Does anyone here know which models I can
use with my CX220 for this?

Thanks in advance.

My CDP-CX455 instruction manual mentions this feature, and also a related
X-fade between CDs on different machines.
The CDP-CX455 manual appears to restrict interconnection to Sony players
taking "5, 50, 200, 300, or 400 discs ... ... and which is equipped with
the CONTROL A1II (or CONTROL A1 jack) and the command mode can be set to
CD3,". It then lists the interconnections necessary etc.
