Hi again, I had all the questions in the "blown sub" thread and I want
to make sure I understand how to wire this. If any of you read that
thred, you may remember that the subs are 4 ohm subs running off a
Kenwood amp whose ratings follow...
Max Power (4Ohm)
Normal..................300x2
Bridge..................1000x1
Rated Power Output (4ohm)
Normal..................150x2
Bridge..................460x1
Rated Power Output (2Ohm)
Normal.................230x2
So, I should run the right channel to the right sub and the left
channel to the left sub. I understand that, if thats the correct
wiring, but I have a question. Will the amp provide enough power to
utilize the subs and make the hit hard and sound good? The subs are
rated 350 nominal and 700 peak but it says abouve that the max it will
reach is 300w. Isn't that quite a gap between what the subs will get
and what they can handle?
Thanks...
