Looking for a dab mp3 gps (sat nav) car radio which uses up the normal space
of a standerd radio...

yes and no.

You can get from Kenwood a sat nav unit which fits into a normal radio
socket iin a car, however you need an external screen mounted
somewhere. Pioneer I beleive do a slide out screen with dvd sat nav tv
tuner radio, dab unit, but expect to pay £3000.

As an alternative look at tomtom sat nav sw for a PDA, and get a
normal radio with dab tuner. £500 for pda gps and sw and £500 for dab
and tuner and cd mp3 player.

The advantage of the pdas is that you can take it with you when you
get out of the car, and use it for other things, mobile mp3 wma
player, play games, pocket word and excel.

Throw a bluetooth car phone kit and youre fully connected. Look at the
parrot ck3300 which is a bluetooth handsfree kit and bluetooth gps
reciver in one unit cost approx £250.

The other alternative is to look at a carpc.
