I'd like to transfer my vinyl recordings to MP3 or WMA. Are ther any
recorders or players that will do this.

I beleive the Iriver H10 and Archos Gmini 400 will do this. Are there
any others.

Any advice on this subject will be welcome. I'd also like to then
transfer these files to CD.

Thank you for your reply, but my vinyl playing equipment is not in the
same place as my computer, so a portable device is required . I did
think of a minidisc recorder, but an MP3 player seems more versatile
and cheaper in the long run, though probably with a lower sound
quality.
