DEH-P8500MP help

Just sold mine actually. Great head unit in my opinion. Just didn't
match my interior to my liking. It is single din. I just sold mine for
250.. it was only 2 months old :) . Maybe you can find a deal like that
on Ebay. No idea. But overall I would give it a 8 on a scale of 10.

I have a few questions about pioneers DEH-P8500MP cd receiver.

First, can someone tell me if this unit is 1 din in size?

Two, if it is, will it fit a 1999 eclipse, as I have found out it has a
mounting depth of 6.5 inchs and my manual doesn't tell me if the radio slot
is that deep.....

Three, I would appreciate general comments about the head unit, its clarity,
quality, and value.....I'm looking at a final price range of 340-370 on the
internet...since it seems to be a discontinued model.

It is a 1 din cd player. I dont know bout the installation. I have one and
enjoy it very much so. The features on it are fun and let u customize it to
your self.
