View Full Version : Audison 5 channel or separate?

Hi gang,
What do you guys think about this? Is there really a difference
between the single 5-channel (or does Audison also have a 6 channel)
or going separate for front speakers, rear, and sub?
My installer says there's no difference because the electronics are
the same, just that the 5/6 version was designed to accomodate
everyting inside a single chassis.
Thoughts?
In a BMW 5 series.
Any suggestions on front speakers for Audison? Sub?

Really no difference in sound quality. The two big things for me are, the
single amp saves a ton of space and you only wire up one amp instead of two.
The one downside, if something happens to the amp, your whole system is down
and you have to buy another amp. Multiple amps would be cheaper to replace
a single amp.

' saves a ton of space' ?
Some of those 5 channels are monsters. :)
If space is tight. (2) 2channel and (1) Mono (Class d) might fit better.
