Hi everyone
I have a '99 Accord EX V6 with the factory 6 speaker system and a single-CD
head unit, as well as a Kenwood KDC-CMP59FM changer connected via a wired FM
modulator. I'm thinking of doing a low-budget speaker upgrade, and wondering
if I'll see any improvement over stock.
Per Crutchfield's recommendation, I'm thinking of :
Front: Kenwood KFC-1669s
(6.5" 2-way)
Rear: Kenwood KFC-6959ie
(6x9 2-way)
First, would I need an amp to run these? Or would they work ok wired to the
factory deck? Amp costs as much as these speakers, and cost is obviously a
consideration.
Also, if these are too cheap to be any good, I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
