I blew the one of the mid-range drivers in my Infinity Reference 610cs
component set. As these speakers are about 8 years old I assume I can
no longer obtain a matching driver. Is there any reason I can't
replace the mid-range drivers with a new set that has similar specs?
Or would I be better off getting a whole new set of components?

Thanks for your thoughts--Craig

just replace both infinity drivers with some 6.5" that are close to the
original specs.

try www.partsexpress.com they have some decent 4ohm 6.5" drivers..... ebay
might have some too.
