i have a 4 channel amp (35w x 4 @ 4 ohm; 40w x 4 @ 2 ohm; 80w x 2 @ 4
ohm) currently running (front) a set of components and (rear -
bridged) a 4 ohm SVC sub. the rear coxials are not connected at the
moment as this is a temporary setup and i plan to get an amp for the
sub soon.

my questions:
1. what are the load seen by the amp (front and rear channel)?
2. now if i remove the sub and connect the rear coxials, each will get
35w. how to connect them to get 80w x 2 @ 4 ohm? or 40w x 4 @ 2 ohm?
3. if the amp is running 80w x 2, will there be functions that cannot
be adjusted, e.g fader, balance, etc.?

i am more interested in the 80 x 2 than 40 x 4 @ 2 ohm since there is
not much increase in wattage but the amp will sure be hotter under 2
ohm.

any feedback welcome. thanks in advance!
