View Full Version : RFC: Krooger vs. Howard; which has less intellect?

Having seen their recent cartoonish declarations about level matching for
speaker comparisons, I'm curious of their relative ranking with respect to:
1. IQ
2. cunning
3. honesty
It may be useful in this comparison to match their loudness levels to within
one tenth of a lie.
Opinions?

Cruelty is encouraging those two dunderheads to go on living.....
In my opinion, they're both above average in IQ, Krooger is more cunning,
and Ferstler is less compulsively dishonest (i.e. he chooses his moments
to attempt deceptions, whereas Krooger lies reflexively).
But getting to the heart of the matter, try ranking Krooger and Fester on
their more dominant traits:
A. sense of honor
B. paranoia
C. hypocrisy

But Ferster's eclectic lying indicates he's more cunning.
I'm soooo confused.

I have no problem with that, provided you can indicate how to match them to
within one tenth of a lie.

I think Ferstler's a basically decent old guy who has had a sea change
in his career field-from objectivism to subjectivism, such as the
changes in painting after photography became popular, and the demotion
from artist to artisan of such icons as Vermeer, to art critics, and
hasn't coped real well whereas Arny is just stirring up **** for the
fun of it. Arny knows just enough to be dangerous, Ferstler probably
understands audio at the 1975-80 state of the art quite well.

If by that, you mean Howard knows where to reshelve the books on the
subject, I would agree with you.

I can't stop him from writing them, but I can point them out to
bystanders.
Arny, they don't take you any more seriously than they take me. But, I
don't care, and you do.

Arny wins here by a mile.

And here again.

Tie.
Now, if it was Arny versus Middius...
