Harold, speaking of burning your cookies, how has the stench of plagiarism
and intellectual fraud impacted your endorsement business? I'm sure that
before your fall from grace, you were swamped with offers to endorse
electronics. Especially surround sound gizmos and monkey coffins. What
manufacturer could resist the allure of attaching the imprimatur of
Ferstlerianism? The "journalist" who sets arbitrary limits on the
"acceptable" price of components; the brilliant wit who imagines himself
pursued by an army of "tweakos"; the name-calling, involuntarily celibate
hermit who's afraid to venture more than 5 miles from his home.
Ferstlerianism has a cachet all its own.

Do tell us what happened after your debacle, Clerkie. Did the endorsement
offers dry up? Were you no longer perceived as the oracle on the mount?
Did your book sales plummet? <snicker>

Oh, one more thing. You remember Corey Greenberg? Well, turns out he got
his comeuppance too. He's still in another league from you, of course.

Harold is hampered by the egotistical need to get more than Corey's going
rate.

I've read several of his articles, and have found them informative and well
written. I find that his posts here quickly help the newbies identify the
losers with nothing to do (like you) and those actually interested in
discussing audio.

Let's talk about your endorsement business, Middius.

There's nothing to talk about because you have no endorsement
business.

That was fun! ;-)

"Michael Conzo" is actually Brian L. McCarty.
I advise everyone to avoid interaction with this person.
His history on usenet is unsavory, and involves harassment of others on
usenet by identity theft, as well as websites that may have been attempts at
investment fraud.
