Strange spam

I got this strange spam email today.
The sender is purported to be one Jack Feng.

That sounds similar to a name I remember as being associated with McCarty,
as one of his imagginary backers/partners/endorsers.
Was that name Jack Feng also?

Here is the spam email:

My name is Jack Feng. The oversea sales representative of Guangri winding

department.
Now I recommend the following toroidal winding machine to you.
If those winding machine interest you, I will email you the catalog.

Yes, there was a "David C. L. Feng", an imaginary character who purportedly
represented the "Coralseas Studios" scam to the asian market.

However, my experience analyzing McCarty's sockpuppets suggests that this is
not his work. McCarty has only afew motives, all of which have to do,
directly or indirectly, with personal gain, or imaginary domination of
"usenet."

I suspect enthusiastic entrepreneurs are combing usenet discussion groups
with translators who are not complelely familar with the nuances of English.
They can tell you are interested in audio electronics, but they can't
distinguish the industrialist from the enthusiastic hobbyist.

Consider it a compliment. Arny would never get this offer :)
