View Full Version : Infinity RS IIIB dilema

Admittedly, I love the sound of tubes. The problem is that I fell in love
with a pair of Infinity RS IIIBs, recently purchased on eBay. I don't know
the SPL, but I imagine it's low. Consequently, my 35 watt tube amp can not
cut the cake, so I may have to use a Solid (gasp) State Amp and tube preamp.
I don't want to build a powerful tube amp because it's hot enough living in
Florida and some other reasons.
I can not find an Internet site for those Infinitys that may help me with
spare parts, repairs, if needed, amp recommendation, specs, etc..
The reason I writing here (and please don't tell anyone from RAT that I was
here), ;-) is that, can someone give their opinion on what type of amp
will work best with these speakers? Basically I mostly listen to Jazz &
Classical. Thank you very much in advance.
Cordially,
west
