Hi,
I have a Harmon Kardon 730.
The output from one channel is distorted. This occurs with both sets
of speaker outputs. When the Mono button is pressed in (mono setting)
the bad channel is distorted but volume is normal. When the Mono
button is pressed out (stereo setting) the bad channel is almost
completely cut out. You can hear something only if you crank up the
volume.
I have used contact cleaner on all pots and switches.
Does anyone know what the problem is? Does it sound like the Mono
switch is bad? Should I just bypass the switch or is it replaceable?
Thanks, Joe
