I am just getting into car audio and I was wondering if any could
recommend some books for me. I am completely new. I bought The Car
Stereo Cookbook by Mark Rumreich but I found that I couldn't
understand most of the stuff he was talking about. I need something
that is even more beginner than this.

What part of car audio are you wanting to investigate?

Decessus,

The great thing about the www is that there is so much good information online. The r.a.c FAQ is a great place to start at for the basics, and it's a good few hours worth of
reading.

Another great resource is this newsgroup. Go to google groups and google any question you want, and chances are it's been asked, and answered already!
