anyone know when the Alpine AI-Net cable for the Ipod is going to be
available?

or

which Alpine head units will support Ipod connectivity?
Will 'any' AI-net ready Alpine have this support? (Specifically the
CDA-7990?)

The Ipod box will be availible in late June. (so far)

only 2004 AI net headunits will be able to connect.
ie 9830 and up.

yes , i seem to have read that Alpines 2004 model line (AI-net) models would
be supported. But isn't AI-net...AI-net?
firmware...firmware..etc..etc..

I would think that they Alpine would have support for their F1 status decks
(especially one's that retail for $2000.00 and up)
