Hi all ...im pretty new to this so please bare with me and ill try to
explain my problem My setup is:

Clarion vrx815 lcd HU
Clarion DVS9775z DVD mp3 etc player ..this is also the dolby prossesor
Clarion apx600.5 5 channel amp 75w x 4 and 190w x1
front speakers: focal polyglass series 2 way splits 165v slims
rear speakers: focal 2 way 165ca access series
centre speaker: clarion srk601 with its own 25 w amp
Sub: pioneer 600w sub

I had this whole system proffesionally installed here in Aust about 4
months ago and have had nothing but drama ... first 1 of the front 2 way
splits mid bass started making loud cracks and slowly got worse and was
distorting badly and then stopped working... the back one on the same side
also was making wierd noises but not cracking just fuzzy and distorted
....this was at any volume ... now the centre one is hissing during certain
music. I went back to the installer and basically he didnt want to know
about it ...thats another drama for another day ..I pulled the speakers out
and took them to a repair place who tested them and said they r fine...so
now im looking at the wiring myself ..The amp appears to be setup as 2
channels high pass 2 chanels band pass plus sub and the wiring appears well
done and grounded properly etc ..

I pulled the crossovers out for the front speakers and the input appears to
come from the amp and the output tweeter wire goes to the tweeter but the
mid woofer wiring seems to head back to the brain (not totall sure without
pulling seats etc out) and the mid woofer was on the original factory
speaker wire .

Does this mean the front speakers are driven off the HU and if so why does
the input to the crossover come from the amp and all 5 channels on the amp
are used. .basically this whole system is so F***ed up and has never sounded
right and my lack of knowledge hasnt helped ... It cost me a truckload of
money to get installed and the mob who done it dont want to know me now and
just **** me off... Sorry for the lame explantion but any help would be
appreciated as to what the speaker wiring setup is... can i just wire the
mid woofer to the output of the crossover and ignore where ever the hell the
output goes to know..

Thanks

do you have a Better Business Bureau or something like it where you live
that you could report them to? Write to your local newspaper's "Letter's To
The Editor" section explaining why you are unhappy with the service.
Complain to the service reps of the companies they buy from.

try anything to get them into hot water if they won't repair your install.
