My buddy tried to put these new amps into his new ford. Wouldn't fit.
Wants $500 for the pair. Some minor install scratches. Is it worth it?

That price seems fair - it's about half of the new price, for
equipment that's essentially unused.

Thanks. Problem is thats way too much power for me. Who needs
1500watts?

Then just consider it a ton of headroom. It won't hurt, and you'll never
have to worry about clipping.

Yeah, tons of headroom is right. Plus the size of this beast. Also
prob. need a new alternator as well

You'd only need a new alternator if you actually used the 1500 watts.
There's no difference in current draw between a 1500 watt amp using 200
watts and a 200 watt amp using 200 watts.

How much ? Lets split it..

BTW 500x1 @ 4 Ohms
1000x1 @ 2 Ohms
1500x1 @ 1 Ohm

grab it fast man!!!

Problem is the size. Both amps together are huge. Im happy with my 300
watts going to my sub as it is.

Gotta spend more if you wanan a earthshaking race. Some guy spend over
$1000 just for the pair of the amp. Of course, more expensive more
power you have. But the bad thing is if your battery can handle to
drain
too much current. It will be hard work on your battery.
