Hi all,

Searched through the archives but didn't find anything on the
Earthquake TNT 900 amp which I am considering buying. Its a 5 channel
amp (see the earthquake site for more details) and I'm planning on
using it to run a pair of Focal 165As in the front, a pair of Kenwood
7x10's in the back and a pair of 10" Pioneer VCCS subs in the boot.

I've had the speakers in for almost a year now and am happy with the
setup - the Earthquake would just be an upgrade to my first amp which
is/was a Boss Audio amp (you know, one of the cheaper and nastier amps
which quote 1000W Max power and put out maybe 50WRMS per channel). The
Boss amp is giving grief and is in for repair under warranty because
the switches on it are dodgey and cause one channel to occasionally
swap into highpass when it should be full range etc etc.

Anyway, its seems like a good time for an upgrade and I am wondering
if anyone has any experience with the Earthquake TNT 900, decent sound
quality? Any problems? Seems like a decent price point for what it
provides (I've been quoted AUD$500).

Thanks for any comments
Best Regards
Aidan

Well, no responses in a week - does this mean no-one has one or does
this mean no body wants to share their knowledge with me? Anyway, from
people's comments on other earthquake amps it seems like a reputable
enough brand. I'll probably get this amp if I don't find a better
alternative in the process today...
