anyway to straighten them back out again? Was thinking to stick a marble in
the dom to try and force the silk dome back into shape. however, worry this
may stretch the silk material and ruin them completely!

Open your mouth, point dome at your tonsils, put your lips around the
frame, and gently suck it out. Don't roll it in dog poo before you do
this.

those little vacuum cleaners for pc keyboards will also do the trick.

So your saying that the silk dome can be repaired and will stay in position?
