The feature article on Audio Video Revolution currently deals with DualDisc,
SACD and DVD-Audio - it's pretty interesting. Here's a little bit below...

What it really proves is that in our artificially credit-fuelled
society no one gives a **** about quality. Unless "the evildoers"
inadvertently cause the scheme to implode by stopping or significantly
impeding the flow of $1/barrel-to-lift Saudi crude or some other
unpredictable eusaster occurs, we will wind up with 99% of the
population in huge houses(made of papier-mache and expired credit
cards!) filled to the brim with unusable consumo-****, no skills, no
useful tools, and no future- and 1% owning everything worth owning.
