View Full Version : End of AOL-based sockpuppets?

It's been said that AOL is dropping support for Usenet newsgroups.

Does this signal the end of the horde of AOL-based sockpuppets that have
been tormenting the serious audio posters on RAO?

Fella, why don't you give us a *complete* list, not just the people you want
to target?

I was just referring to those "sockpuppets that have been tormenting the
serious audio posters" that use aol on their email. Middius corrected me
on the terrorist thingy. But if you want a list of : "sockpuppets that
have been tormenting the serious audio posters" without any aol
references it would surely include you too.

Your list was highly incomplete. If you want fair answers, ask fair
quesitons.

AOL users have always had and will continue to have access to usenet
through a web browser and external NNTP clients.

What's going away is the crummy AOL usenet interface and access to the AOL
usenet server(s).

Draw your own conclusions about any sockpuppets you may know of.
