greetings,
I'm new to this forum. I want to replace my antique Bozak speakers with something new and better performance. Epos speakers always had a special appeal to me since i demo'd them some time ago. Wondering if anyone owns or demo'd the new Epos M22. The size and price seeems right for me. My associated equip. is Bryston amp & preamp, Philips cd, adcom tuner, Headroom amp and sennheiser 580's.
Thanks for your response,
Joe

I've auditioned them some time ago, yes. I did not end up buying them,
actually could only have them hooked up some 2-3 days. They were IMHO,
somewhat too gentle, almost polite with music, easy listening, very
disciplined tweeters, thin, dry midrange.. You do get lots of detail
but, as with many speakers out there, you have to put all that detail
together yourself and make music out of the "information" the speaker is
relaying. The "timbre" , as it were, was not really convincing.

The *tri* wireable binding posts were somewhat of a puzzle to me. And
that a floorstander 3 way model would have such low sensitivity was also
a bit puzzling.

So this was my impression of them. Hope it helps.

My word of advice would be that you can do better with the amount of
money you will be giving to this particular model. Try looking at the
direction of dynaudio, or b&w, for instance.
