Are there any hi-fi audio stores that *rent* this device for cleaning vinyl
records? Thanks.

I would think that if you were renting it, you'd want something more rugged
than a Nitty Gritty machine. It used to be standard for used record places
to have a VPI or even the Keith Monks machine, but I haven't seen one for
many years. Wuxtry Records in Atlanta had one as late as 1990, though.
