Hi you all!!
I'm trying to help two musician friends to setup an electro-music live show.

Out problem is to sync to instances of Ableton Live running on 2 different
pcs.

We've tried with a Midi cable via MidiClock, but the synchronization beween
the two computers are very unstable.
Using MTC (Midi TimeCode) the second Live don't run when I pèress "play" on
the 1st Live.

Syncing the 2 sound cards (both from M-Audio) at sampling frequency level
can improve the Midi Clock sync between he two pcs?

Do you have any suggestion?

Thank You very much

MTC takes a few frames to lock, i'd say try to use MMC ( midi machine
control) thus the MMC play command can be @ the midi port of your
choice, sending it to whatever you slave to it.
make shure that one is the master, and all the rest are slaves if
using MTC's clock sync
make shure of enough MIDI bandwith ( 33k6 is not a lot...)

if you are not sending any audio info to either one of the computers
this should not be neccesary, i supose the machines are not hidiously
slow? the clock pulse should not be generated by the PC but by the M
audiocard idealy.
