Whats a reasonable price for a matched pair of Schoeps?

I'm not a specialist but as I see none of them answers your question and as
I'm looking for a pair of Schoeps since several weeks, I'll just try to give
you my opinion which is perhaps not the best one.

Considering the Schoeps prices are all the same in US (I have never seen
something like "Promotion" on Schoeps dealer's sites, but perhaps am I wrong
?),
CMC6 = $615
MK4S = $555 (take care this caps is to use very close to the source)
X 2 = $2340 + matching the pair of caps $30 (I'm not sure...but it's close)
= $2370
So, why not the US Stereo sets with A20 suspensions, B5 popscreen, in one
box for $2490 ?

OK, these are are new prices.

For a second hand pair, depending to his age and condition, depending how
much you trust the seller, I would say between 40 and 85% of the new price.
If the pair is in really good condition: between $1600 (if the seller is
cool) and $2000 (if you wanna really spare $370).

I hope you'll have more accurate answers.

If you live in US, you're lucky, because Schoeps mics are really more
expansive here in France and in Europe and if I would like to buy a pair
coming from US (even a second hand one), I should pay an expansive shipping
cost + around 23% VAT and various taxes !!!

I was wrong , I read MK4S and it's MK 41S = $725
So it's a little bit more expansive.
