A friend has the Sennie, a D112, a D6, and an EV I don't remember the model
of. The only time he's liked the 602 was on kicks without a hole in the
resonant head. He doesn't like the EV at all (except on floor toms, where
he uses it often). He always went back to the D112 until he tried a D6. I
don't think he's used his other kick mics since.

Try a Beta 52 inside the kick pointed DOWN. I stumbled on that by accident and
now it is my fave rock kick technique.

Speaking of low-end tones that the -103 is good at; stick it on a bass cab
sometime... the extended low end on that thing really rocks!
