I love my Powered Reveals and two 110B sub setup, they work so well together
(no wonder, there all designed to go together). But Tannoy does make power
amps...yes?

You guys have confused me enough to get the powered version of the monitors.
Tannoy recommends 30 to 100 watts into 8 ohms.
The Hafler P3000 puts out 150 wpc into 8 ohms.
The P1500 puts out 75 wpc into 8 ohms.
Wouldn't Tannoy's recommendation be to use the P1500?

Okay, I finally get what you guys are trying to say. I think in
either case, I would be unlikely to damage the speakers because I
don't listen to music that loudly anyway.

But I went ahead and ordered the powered monitors, less headache and I
found a decent deal on them. Thanks to all for the help.
