Does anyone know? All these threads are propaganda from Microsoft, aren't
they? Just like the political ones (which I assume are from Republican or
Democrat propagandists), I assume the senders names are fake and the messages
are simply designed to create selfish mischief. I'm astounded that anyone
takes them seriously and am frightened that opinions would be formed by them.
Yuck.

It's obviously a joke. The president of Parker would hardly write something so
unsubtle and facetious.
They're definitely not from Microsoft (though they could come from a Microsoft
employee with nothing better to do with his free time). Microsoft management
would do such things much more subtly and cleverly.
It doesn't change the fact that Linux/Lindows is not a good choice if the
software you need isn't available.

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

No. You are an idiot that has neither a useful hobby nor friends
and therefore is cross-posting in all newsgroups he has subscribed
to.
(I answered in the 2 that are topic-related plus the one in
which I found your crap-posting. Don't think that the gay
community is happy about such off topic postings in their
newsgroups.)

They just hate what they don't know, and they love what is
good at first sight. Giving them what _they want_ is not the
professional IT approach. Give them what they _need_ instead.
Our employees like Outlook because they use it at home, but
they don't get it because that would be a high security risk.
Simple: No Outlook, no Viruses spread to our customers.
We use Lotus Notes mainly because the IBM/Lotus software
designers implement one of the best security models you
can imagine.
The problem with all Microsoft products is that the default
settings are wide open for Internet attacks and all features
are switched on. A better way would be to allow the experienced
user to switch on what he or she needs that fits into the
security constrains.
Install Microsoft products out of the box and you have a high
security risk. The M$ guys know how to make secure products,
but they also know how to attract users (who are normally
not aware of security etc.): By allowing them all the risky
things by default.

If you receive emails from idiots and if you visit websites
published by idiots, you should tell them that you are professional
Internet users and that the Internet standards are not set by M$.
