A comment in another thread about the difficulty of replacing plugs on some
headphone cables prompts me to ask< "What is the best way to deal with the
conductor that utilizes very fine or very small flat ribbon copper with
integral nylon fibers for strength and flexibility?" When I try to burn the
nylon away, I get copper that has melted nylon on it that is difficult to
clean off and difficult to solder. I know there's a trick. What is it?
